Step-by-step guide

How to check your MUHS result

The official portal asks for the same details every session. Follow these steps in order and you will have your marksheet on screen in a couple of minutes.

Keep these ready

  • Hall ticket with your seat number
  • Exam session, such as Summer-2026
  • Faculty, course and year or phase
  • A steady internet connection

The steps

From the portal to your marksheet

  1. Step 1

    Open the official result portal

Go to the View Results page on muhs.edu.in. Bookmark it before result day so you are not hunting for the link under pressure.

Use a laptop or a phone browser in desktop mode if the page looks cramped.

  2. Step 2

    Select your exam session

Pick the session you appeared for, such as Summer-2026 or Winter-2025. Supplementary candidates choose the session of the exam they actually wrote.

Winter results are listed under the year the session started, for example Winter-2025 for exams held around the turn of the year.

  3. Step 3

    Choose faculty, course and year

Select your faculty, then your course and the year, phase or semester, and choose Individual Result.

PG students pick their specialty in the same list as the course.

  4. Step 4

    Enter your seat number

Type the seat number exactly as printed on your hall ticket, solve the maths captcha and submit. Save or print the result page.

If the captcha fails, reload the captcha image instead of the whole page.

Other lists on the portal

College-wise and withheld results

Besides individual results, the official result page links to two more lists that are useful on result day.

College-wise results

Shows the result sheet for a whole college, course and session. Colleges and teachers use it to see a batch at once. If your individual result will not load, your college office can confirm it from here.

Withheld results

Lists results that are not declared for a reason such as pending fees, missing documents, attendance or an enquiry. Your college exam section can explain what is needed to release yours.

Reading your marksheet

What each part of the result means

Check every line the moment your result loads. Mistakes are much easier to fix in the first few days.

  • Student details

Your name, seat number, college and the exam session. Check the spelling of your name against your hall ticket.

  • Subject-wise marks

Each subject is listed with its theory, practical or clinical and internal components, the marks you scored and the maximum marks.

  • Totals and result

The grand total, the overall result such as pass or fail, and remarks for any subject that needs a repeat attempt.

Troubleshooting

When the result will not show

Most problems on result day come down to traffic, a wrong selection or a result that is not out for your college yet.

Unhappy with a mark?
The portal says no record found. What should I do?

First confirm the exam session, course and year you selected, then re-enter your seat number exactly as printed on the hall ticket. If it still fails, the result for your college may not be declared yet or may be withheld. Check the withheld results list and then your college exam section.

The portal is very slow on result day. Is something wrong?

Heavy traffic is normal in the first hours after a declaration. Try again after some time, avoid refreshing repeatedly, and keep your seat number ready so you can finish quickly when the page loads.

Is the online result the same as the original marksheet?

The online result is for information. Your college receives the official marksheets from the university and distributes them, so collect yours from the college office.

I found a mistake in my name or marks. Who fixes it?

Report it to the exam section of your college straight away with a printout of the online result and your hall ticket. Name and detail corrections go through the college to the university.

Ready to see your marks?

Keep your hall ticket next to you. You will need your seat number, your course and the exam session, plus a few seconds for the maths captcha.

  • Your seat number is printed on the hall ticket for that exam session.
  • We never ask for your seat number. You enter it only on the official MUHS page.
